Google Names Santa Rosa Beach "Digital Capital" of Florida.
Google announced that Santa Rosa Beach, is Florida's Digital Capital, decorating it with the 2013 eCity Award.
Located along the stretch of Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast, Santa Rosa Beach is one of the distinct 16 beach neighborhoods in South Walton. Boasting of a variety of hospitality services and family friendly activities, Santa Rosa Beach is also home to our beach vacation rentals.
The Google e-City Awards recognize the strongest online community in each state.
"Visitors to Santa Rosa Beach enjoy the sand and sun, and thanks to the strong web presence of its local businesses-- anyone can look up hotels, restaurants, and day activities before a vacation," said Google.

Google and an independent research firm analyzed the online strength of local small businesses in cities in all fifty states. The city with the highest scores in each state was designates a 2013 Google eCity.
