Sandcastle Escapes Announces Donation to Local High Schools

Sandcastle Escapes Vacation Rentals Makes Donation of Towels
In Support of Local High Schools’ Athletic Programs

SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL (October 9, 2013) - Sandcastle Escapes Vacation Rentals is pleased to announce its recent contribution of over 1,000 units of reclaimed towels to the athletic and band departments of Freeport and South Walton high schools.

The donation comes as a result of joined efforts between Sandcastle Escapes’ President, Taylor Williams and Freeport teacher, Ted Missildine. “Sandcastle Escapes has been an active supporter of our school for some time now, therefore I felt very comfortable reaching out to them about the possibility of benefiting from any discarded linens,” expressed Ted Missildine.

“We are happy to be able to make this donation,” said Chandler Williams, Director of Operations for Sandcastle Escapes. “In the past we’ve donated unused household items to local charities and animal refuge centers, so being able to extend a helping hand to our schools in the development of our local youth makes it more rewarding.”

Sandcastle Escapes gathered over 1,000 gently used towels that didn’t meet quality standards for guest usage, and distribute them to the high schools. Both schools received the news with open arms. “It is through the support of individuals and entities like Sandcastle Escapes that we are able to continue to strengthen our programs,” said Missildine. “The money we would have spent on towels would have cut into funds we desperately need for other projects.”

South Walton High School’s Athletic Director, Phil Tisa shared the same appreciation for the generous donation by Sandcastle Escapes to their school. “We deeply thanked Sandcastle Escapes for this donation; we’re now able to properly supply all of our sports with towels,” said Tisa.

Sandcastle Escapes welcomes any opportunity to support the community, local nonprofits and NGO’s programs. For more information, you can contact Sandcastle Escapes at 1-888-650-2753 or at info@sandcastleescapes.com
